Do it yourself. I don't know about ur car but with most all you have to do is look around and you will be able to figure it out. If there are screws on the outside of the tail light remove them. If none there go into the trunk and look for some wing nuts. You may have to pull loose some cloth cover, which is usually held on by Velcro to get to the nuts or screws. (If you're lucky you may find inside the trunk behind the tail light to be the wires that go into a socket thingy that you just twist and it will pull out with the bulb on it.) To remove most bulbs you push in on it and turn it. Look first and you should see two brass nipples on the bulb that hold it in the socket. Once you remove the bulb look at the filaments in it. Hold it up to a light source. If they are not broken you may just need to clean the connections. You can do this with a pencil eraser. Just rub it on the connections real good. Plug back in and check it. If you need a new bulb the number for it will be on the light itself or the metal part of it. Most brake lights have a double filament in them, that's what makes them brighter when you push your brake. It's pretty simple to do. Give it a try. You can't really hurt anything by trying. How do you change a driver%26039;s side rear brake light ?
Take it to Halfords, they will change it for you while you wait. Watch how they do it so that you know for next time. They only charge a few bob. Good luck.
