How do u get the warning lights to turn off after you change your own brakes? 93 ford ranger?

since i bought my truck last year i have been doing my own brake pad chages...but since then my e-brake light and my abs light always come on...how do i get them to go away. i know for a fact that all 4 brakes are working properly...pls helpHow do u get the warning lights to turn off after you change your own brakes? 93 ford ranger?
stop doing your breaks with the abs pluged in. u MUST disconnect the abs to prevent failure and damage to the unit...just unhook the battery next time...the solenoids can still be engergized in some way..and if you try to force fluid back up into them its gonna damage them...and make sure your pushing the caliper pistons back in slowly..with the resevoir lid openHow do u get the warning lights to turn off after you change your own brakes? 93 ford ranger?
You go ahead and do this and the light will still remain lit. It will not change anything with the ABS system. You will still have to take it to a shop.

None of the above answers are correct. You have a problem with the ABS system, not with the brake pads. You will need to have the vehicle hooked to a diagnostic computer to read the diagnostic codes to properly diagnose the ABS system. Take it to a professional for help, and a proper diagnosis and repair.
