if i remember right you have 2 10mm bolts to remove,to remove the whole lens, then from there you just twitst the old one out,it could be 2 bolts on the outside or 2 inside the trunk i forget, ether way you will need to open the trunk,if there are 2 outside there will be on the side when you open the trunk,if its 2 inside, you will need to pry apart the carpet(clis to remove for that) and get to the 10mm nut from there,,after that it will be tought but you have to pry the lens off ,Does anyone know how to change the brake light for a 1992 toyota tercel?
Look at your lights first and then open your trunk up and look down like at a angel. You should see like a flap and open it you. The bulbs more then likely you have to press down and twist to take out. Look at it and it will have a number on it and take it to a auto parts store, K Mart and etc and buy it and then to install is just reverse. Always replace both and not just one.Does anyone know how to change the brake light for a 1992 toyota tercel?
Most cars have in there trunck alittle flap or door just behind the brakelight, if so look in the door or flap and you should see two to three wires which are just behind the bulb. Now some you just turn the socket where the wires goto left or right, and other you just pull the unit straight-out. But you shouldn't have to take the light-lens off.
